The luck of who, like me, is truly passionate about menswear, resides into the desire to create something new every day in order to give new inspirations to the readers. Usually, many rack their brains to try and find something that is actually not easy to be used in everyday life; I am one of those who firmly believes in the lifestyle concept and that keeps himself away from temporary trends which put much effort than what they’re actually worth. Regarding today’s images, as you can see, the created contrast sees a predominance of the color white that is broken only by the olive green of the shirt and the brown of the belt. I see myself as supporter of the famous “tone on tone” which I use 365 days a year but when it is the same tone, like this time, for the t-shirt and trousers, then it is better to mix it with something which avoids the total uniformity..
This kind of combination was born in the USA…as you know, I am not a huge supporter of the American style, but you must give Caesar what’s Caesar’s..it is a combination that winks to practicality because when we find ourselves in those middle seasons when a jacket is still too much, then you call for the help of a layer which is not too invasive therefore you see the shirt. Then it’s up to you to try to make it different..I bought it oversized, with a pocket just to enrich it with a pocket square, I’ve rolled up the sleeves and I’ve inserted one the two hems inside the trousers.
