I want to start this little part of the blog, which is dedicated to the Haute Parfumerie, with the perfume that best represent me, as to introduce me in a different and more sophisticated way. Oud Imperial. By Perris MonteCarlo
The first impact with the perfume is very strong, dry. Firstly came out Oud and Blackwood notes, that makes the fragrance darker and darker, positioning it in the “woody” field. While the time is elapsing, incense and patchouli comes out, and mixing with the previous almost perfectly, create an exceptional understanding and make this scent very selective, not for non-trained noses, able to intrigue and enthrall those who luckily smell it.
If you close your eyes, and smell this suave scent, you can go back in time, in an arabian world, made of gold and tapestries, always elegant and refined. A quiet world, adorned with gold but at the same time not so bright, tending to the shadows, that cover the palace and preserve over time.
Refined and prestigious, as its raw materials claims (totally natural, not synthesized, which makes them very expensive and hard to find), the parfume is proposed only in 100ml of EdP, enclosed in a marvelous gold bottle with an easy shape but rich of small engraved details. For its long lasting and its wide field of fragrance, it seems to be an extract more than an EdP. Ringrazio la Profumeria Mazzolari, Galleria San Babila (Milano), per avermi fatto scoprire questa meravigliosa essenza. Thanks to Profumeria Mazzolari, Galleria San Babila (Milan), for introducing me to this marvelous fragrance.
