By now, Milan is or it has always been, but since two years even more, a city of a certain calibre which attracts the attention of many international realities because here everything works, business takes over and there’s always the feeling that productive degrees are really incredible. When I speak about incredible productiveness I am not doing it in a political apathy to emphasize the gap with southern Italy but rather to underline that the working levels to which this city is used to, are perfectly in line with those of the world’s biggest capitals. Although the city is an endless container which hosts a large number of events during the year, the Design Week or properly called “Salone del Mobile” is capable to attract a number of visitors which makes it second to none…lasting a week and usually accompanied by a particularly pleasant weather, the city welcomes thousands and thousands of visitors which distribute themselves among the fair centre located in Rho Fiera and the whole organization of the Fuori Salone inside the city walls…a complete blending between design and fashion.
Today I was shooting for the launch of Tod’s new collection, called “Tod’s Tattoo” born by the inspiration and hands of artist Saira Hunjan which I have met at the end of the day during the event at the store located in Via della Spiga..
