Fashion Week June 2017.
Clear colors from head to toe, with an exception for shoes (here specifically) for my idea of what I identify as “summer style”. A combination imbued with versatility that winks to different circumstances of application such as a work lunch where you want to be dressed up but at the same time to avoid to wear a jacket as well as a stylish aperitivo at the seaside.
A white pair of trousers made of 100% cotton with a single not too deep pleat, obviously with a more comfortable fit, without belt loops with the exception of a single loop which could be used to hook the classic wallet chain. The polo shirt is a creation by the Santillo masters.
Renamed “SWING” this piece of garment comes from a fabric taken from an old archive, inspired and designed for the modern gentleman who is looking for refinement and comfort; a revisitation of the polo shirt with the presence of a slanted pocket sewn on the front left side, but with collar and cuffs marked by the softness that derived from the absence of structure. The armhole is hand sewn, executing one of the trademarks of the calabrese shirt masters: the “punto a barchetta” aimed to enhance the softness but at the same time the strength of the fabric in the most stressed parts of the shirt.
